I believe that many folks are capable of helping themselves with self-help materials and well-structured emotional growt
h processes. Research has shown that self-motivated persons can utilize exercises in books and find them very helpful. It's easy then to reason that exercises on websites could be just as helpful. When I was a young adult I benefited quite a bit from cognitive-behavioral exercises and learnings I found in books. I also found that emotional processes and meditations, with quality instructions, could be learned from written materials. I know many others who have found the same benefits. - Steve Mensing
